Self-taught dance performer Kenichi Ebina from Tokyo performed his “dance-ish” act on ‘America’s Got Talent’ Tuesday night.  His intro was a little funky, especially since he said his dance style was a mix of “dance, martial arts and mime” at once, but boy were we wrong!

Similar to the group “Poreotics” from America’s Best Dance Crew, Ebina’s matrix-style robot dance. At one point his head seems to drop off his neck as his continues to move in ways that look physically impossible. By the end of the performance, the judges were on their feet in amazement. Judge Heidi Klum told Ebina he had a control over his body that was unbelievable, and Howie Mandel said it was the best performance seen in Chicago.

Hosted by Nick Cannon, the show is a talent search open to acts of all ages. The next episode of ‘America’s Got Talent’ will be aired Tuesday, June 25 at 8pm.
